thanks GOD for the boring Friday you gave me today. I'm so blessed with the art work that I've made today :D and also thank you for the free time at art class hehe :)

Kamoro

actually I joined this exhibition on 12th September 2012 at University of Indonesia. The exhibition is about Kamoro culture. They showed us their traditional dance, and their wooden crafted. It was a great experience! i was so lucky to be there :D oh yeah I'm the youngest participation there! most of them were professional painters, age 30 or more :)

and these are the Kamoro people.

they're originally from Papua, they are one of the tribes that lives in Papua island. They're really good at making wooden craft. it's their specialization.

They event bought their tradition crafted wood, sadly I didnt get the chance to see it :(
