Road to Gelar Jepang 22

howdy humans! how's it going?
welp today im gonna tell you about this RTGJ thing.
ya'll know Gelar Jepang right? yup this year is the 22nd! so yeah and surprisingly this year Gelar Jepang held this mini event called Road to Gelar Jepang. it was at the 23rd and 24th of April at Margocity. and yeah this year Gelar Jepang will be at Parkir Timur Senayan for the 3rd day, just same as years befor 1st & 2nd day will be held in Pusat Studi Jepang, University of Indonesia. but when is it? welp it's going to be 13th & 14th of August at PSJ and 20th at Senayan.

CommArtFest 2016

howdy humans!
how's it going? me? doing great with life i guess lel

in this post i wanna show you guys my photos from a previous event by communication students, CommArtFest. it's a music event at the Komunitas Salihara located at somewhere around Pejaten. well tbh i was a bit excited to TTATW (tress and wild) cause ya know if you've been reading my blog from some time you might know that im fan of them so yeah. the event was quite fun i mean i love the venue, the crowd isnt so bad, and i met new people. it's been awhile since i went to music events, if you noticed i often go to music events back then but since my college life has been quite a pain in the ass i got less time to do so. and since i rarely do artworks this blog is starting to die slowly but not quite cause i might post more photographs for now on.

quick updated, i still do some artwork but only for instagram feeds or if i feel like doing it. but yeah sorry i havent post much. cause tbh sometimes i forgot to post things, haha but yeah i'll post more this year, since i got a lot to share and i know i dont have that much reader as i used to so yeah~

Java Jazz Fest 4th March

howdy humans!
how's it going? me? welp im doing alright i guess, anyways im going to share some photos taken during this JJF event. long story short i got this free ticket for one day pass on friday, since im not really into jazz tbh so i just watched some concert that i do really understand, and the only thing i watch the whole thing was Barasuara, the rest? only cost me a good 15 mins or so. HAHA i know but since it's free i dont really think that it's a waste of money lol (idk)

anyways thank you for BNI for giving me the free pass ticket and thank you for my mom for able to got one. anyways these are some of the picts from Barasuara and Noh Salleh performance.

Let's Build Some Gundam

hey humans how's it going?

well in this post im gonna post about me and my friend Felide *click her name to see her post about this too

this is how the gundam buying story, on a satuday evening my mom and hers kinda do some meet ups just to have a small talk together and such. and we were bored since we have to listen to their conversation about stuff we dont want to hear. and feli was talking about to buy new gundam since we both got nothin to do much at home, not for long they told us to look around and we did, it was at Lottemall Bintaro so nothin much to do there. but we went to see some store such as kid's station. and what do we found? GUNDAMSSS!! and it was on sale 20% for all types of gundam.

Atelier Escha & Logy : The Alchemists of the Dusk Sky - Spring 2014

well hey again humans! long time no post ey?
welp i've been caught up with lots of work (since im a 12 grader now (ikr)) *sobs*
but hey! although i havent got any drawings or art to post im going to post about a game called Atelier Escha & Logy.

which is a 2013 PS3 game and the rumor is, this game is going to be an anime this year 2014. which.... im soo excited!! O^O i love them animation! and the chara! *excites*

the website (which is in JP of course) said it will be on the 4th month which means... next 2 months? but i dont know yet. either the anime or the english version of the game. but some says it's the anime. which im not sure yet (well sorry about my crappy review) but hey both are a good thing right? i miss playing my PS3 (but it's broken btw *sobs*)

anyways, that's all for the review and yeah many anime reviews to come in the future. well i'll keep on posting about anime for awhile until my UN finish i guess, cause i havent get that much time to draw. i even stream anime like 1 episode a day before studying while usually i could spend like 5 episodes a day TT^TT

but hey! 3 months to go ey? so yeah i'll be fine :"D

Artist Review: Hikari Shimoda

one of my favorite artist from Japan named Hikari Shimoda, i knew her from a friend of mine. she shows me her works over deviant art, and at that moment. im in love with her. not so long afterwards i found her instagram and surprisingly she post her daily updates there, which made me love her even more.

her pastel color on a little child in a pink hair really got me. i dont know why but the softness of the artworks harmonize all in together into a perfect piece of work.

a little child with round eyes with stars in their eyes is her thing. although her artworks mostly looked the same cause the kid poses the same thing on her most works but they amazed me, every one of them.

the thing that i found unique is her paintings with a look a like stickers all over it. i dont know if it's a sticker or not but somehow they fit into the painting! most of people they "tried" to combine something yet they dont really look good but amazingly she does!!

Artist Review: Diela Maharanie

Diela Maharanie, one of my favorite artist of all time. Her combination of colors and patterns caught my heart.

her paintings contain bright colors that somehow they were harmonize to each one and other.

tribal culture is her thing. Deer horns, Feathers, and women is her thing.

but surprisingly she never really attends a formal art school, but attending accounting major in college.



she never really do formal studies of art
she just regularly producing drawings everyday to increases her skill. it was a good idea to do and a good exercise  too.
 you have to get used to it to increase more than what you are now. that's what i got from her interview in one of a local tv show.

she may not travel the world that much but her artworks are well known in world-wide, this encourage me to do more in art. i mean if we really want to achieve it, we must committed to our decision.

   so be yourself and do something that you love and be passionate about it! and dont forget to always be committed to your choice of life then when you do you could rule the world!

Tauiyou No Ie Manga

hello my fellow humans!

yeah it has been awhile since i post my daily updates, but according to my school work in ICT work i have to post at least 9 post in my blog (since i have tons already he made a new rule. 9 posts from August. yea sucks a bit)

anyways, cause i havent do artsy stuff that much i decided to give a review to a current comic that im reading. the name of the comic you can see it from the title of this blog hehe

i havent read comic in ages cause when im in love with the character when the story got shitty i'll be super upset (lol) but i do. just like Dengeki Daisy and Kimi Ni Todoke both a great comics but i just have to stop being sad.

the story is very cliche, it's about 2 childhood friends Hiro and Mao. both came from a very different family background where Hiro came from a happy family and Mao came from the other way. but then Hiro's parents got an accident and died on their way home.

after years of recovery, Mao decided to live with Hiro after what his cold dad had done to her. she got no where else to go to. no one to welcome her but Hiro. so they ended living together. and the excitements continue. (im currently reading chapter 12 btw)

but the one that attracts me the most is the main character Mao. she may act strong but she's fragile inside. her tsundere soul got me.

 she reminds me how i am during a relationship. she seems to have a problem with expressing her words and did something else instead. and it's how i am, so yeah i do love her a lot.

oh and Hiro?
he's the mother type person who cooks, does laundry, yet protective over Mao. they had this love and hate sort of relationship (oh fyi they are not dating *yet)

but the both characters matches each other. how the cool calm Hiro got the neutral power to neutralize the spontaneous personality of Mao.

Bapak S.Sjojono, siapa kah beliau ini?

saya yakin hanya segelintir orang yang mengenal beliau, atau anda sedang membuka google sekarang bertanya-tanya siapakah sosok beliau ini. Saya tidak heran dengan itu, jangankan anda. Saya saja awalnya tidak tahu siapa beliau ini. Sudah tidak lazim lagi untuk bangsa ini melupakan sosok penting dalam sejarah Indonesia. Apalagi dengan remaja muda sekarang lebih fanatik akan negara besar dibanding mengagungkan negaranya sendiri. Iya bukan?

Sebelum kita bahas tentang personal beliau, saya ingin bertanya kepada kalian. Saya yakin ada beberapa dari kalian yang cinta akan seni, namun apakah cinta kalian itu hanya sekedar mencintai alat-alat yang digunakan untuk berkarya? Apakah anda peka akan hilangnya sosok-sosok yang menghidupkan kesenian Indonesia? Siapa peseni yang anda tahu? tahu Erica? Affendi? Jangan google dulu, tapi jawab pertanyaan tersebut tanpa si mbah google itu.

Kembali ke Bapak S.Sudjojono, apa maksud dari post saya ini? Ya, saya hanya ingin memperkenalkan beliau dengan kalian semua. Beliau ini penting dalam sejarah seni Indonesia. Seni Indonesia pernah mengalami yang namanya Mooi Indie, atau lukisan-lukisan yang mengambarkan suatu keindahan pemandangan. Seperti; pantai, sawah, dll. Namun pastinya pada masa itu pada realitanya kita sedang mengalami hal tidak seindah lukisan tersebut. Namun bapak S.Sudjojono ini tidak ingin mengikuti trend tersebut, beliau lebih memilih melukis realita. Kehidupan sehari-hari ataupun issue yang sedang dialami Indonesia.

Namun, sekarang ini karya-karya beliau sudah tidak begitu lagi dikenang oleh masyarakat Indonesia, bahkan lukisan agung beliau saja sudah tidak terawat dengan baik. Tau kan lukisan besar yang berada dekat pintu masuk Museum Fatalilah itu? iya itu karya beliau.

Pertempuran Sultan Agung

pada hari Selasa tanggal 6 April kemarin, sekolah saya mengundang kami pergi ke diskusi seni yang sedang berlangsung di Museum Fatahilah. Yang kebetulan sekali teman saya adalah cucu dari beliau, jadi kami diundang langsung dari S.Sudjojono Center. Acara tersebut dihadiri orang-orang penting, seperti media parner dari Jakarta Post, mahasiswa dari IKJ, bahkan ada yang dari Nanyang University Singapore. Saya pun sempat takut. Jelas takut, saya sendiri tidak tahu siapa beliau ini. Apakah akan ada pesan yang nyangkut, apakah saya akan membawa pulang sebuah informasi, apakah saya pantas disini, apakah saya akan mengikuti baik acara ini.

Begitu banyak pertanyaan di otak saya ini, namun saya mengikuti acara itu dengan baik. Sayapun sempat melontarkan pertanyaan yang sempat membawa feedback balik dari beberapa pihak.

Kami dijelaskan bagaimana karya agung beliau itu yang sudah sangat menyedihkan, dengan menunjukan beberapa sudut yang sudah keropos dimakan rayap. warna yang sudah pudar. Padahal benda tersebut sudah menjadi saksi sebuah sejarah. Namun di pajang seakan-akan setara dengan sebuah tembok. Yang tidak terurus, sehingga harus memanggil orang dari Singapore untuk membetulkannya kembali. Ya sangat memakan dana tidak sedikit untuk itu. Dan lagi, lukisan itu sudah dicemarin hasil tangan orang lagi, tidak seutuhnya hasil beliau.

Sangat disayangkan hal ini tidak hanya terjadi pada karya beliau namun benda-benda museum lainnya. Apakah kita akan terus-terusan seperti ini? Apakah kita akan terus membiarkan sebuah benda hancur lebur untuk menyadari bertapa pentingnya sebuah sejarah tersebut?

Disini saya sebagai Duta dari acara tersebut, ingin mengajak kalian dan menyadarkan akan pentingnya hal-hal kecil yang terkadang di sepelekan atau dilewatkan oleh segenap masyarakat karna menurut mereka hal ini membosankan atau hanya untuk materi pembelajaran saja. Sangat disayangkan remaja Indonesia yang begitu gencar akan hal-hal berbau Korea, Western atau gosip yang kadang tidak beredukasi namun tidak peduli akan negaranya sendiri :)

Sekarang tinggal anda ambil sikap, apakah anda akan lebih sayang dengan negara sendiri atau negara tetangga lain? Saya tahu, beberapa dari kalian sehabis membaca ini, hanya berkaya "oooh" lalu membuangnya saja dari otak kalian. Atau baru baca saja sudah bosan. Tak apa memang begitulah bangsa ini, membuang hal yang penting untuk bangsanya namun menyimpan yang membodohkan diri.

this is not a post about my artwork, videos or even photos. it's about some rant post, about how mean the society is. here in my own hometown country Indonesia. Why Indonesia you may ask, cause i cant find it in another country i guess, maybe this is all just me.

well once was i used to be a new kid in this country, the only thing i knew is speaking in bahasa. that's all, i cant spell ABC in bahasa, even knew numbers in bahasa. yeah you may thought "ohwaw she's such an idiot" well whatever, cause you know what? before i moved here i used to live in Australia where they dont 'FORCE' young age kid to STUDY and DO HOMEWORKS, we did learn how to share our things, and BE FRIENDLY to other kids.

here in Indonesia? it was a culture shock where the bathroom wasnt THAT clean, and how we MUST do homeworks i mean i was 5! all I know is fairytale and playing princess and being a hero. so it effected me a lot, cause you know what? people were being mean to me. they bullied me, yeah i was bullied when i was 5 cause i was different from everyone.

it wasnt a good memories, how they pitched me. not only 1 person but a group of girls did that, and when i cried they laugh about it, as if im just being a cry baby. i wasnt enjoying school at all, not a single bit. then it didnt stop there. during my 1st grade i cant read bahasa so i did take lesson to read while my friends could read perfectly. another "ohwaw she's such an idiot" label again. no i wasnt an idiot that time, it's just i could do what this country wants.

but it kept continuing till my 2nd grade, i was struggling with the school curriculums. NO it wasnt THAT easy when you cant read well and know some alphabets. and how i got frustrated with the english here! i mean they cant even spell the alphabets well and when i try to tell my teacher her mistakes she just being "oh im a teacher and you're a kid so shut it and just deal with it" kinda situation.

then i tried my best to study and it changed during my 3rd grade, i could easily follow the lessons and do well in school. finally good grades, and i ended up being a teacher's pet. every teacher kinda look up for me (FINALLY) yet it gave me a bad influence cause finally i got the power over everyone, so yeah i bullied people. i made them cried, and yeah i was mean that year. it's like im finally got my power after years of being a completely someone who's been treated bad and being that "idiot" girl.

it continues, during my 5th grade i transfered school. i was like "oh a fresh new start" yet i was wrong, i got close with the popular people which made me well known for a new kid. and yeah another bad influenced in life, i did bad things in school. which made me not a person i was, i used to be the shy person then they changed me into this beast who loves to do bad things and bullied weak people. i never knew the pleasure of taking control was taking over me.

and you think my life stops there? noppeee, during my junior high years it gone worst. before i entered the school, i was a friend of a kid of the school owner so yet again well known as a new student. teacher know my name, and yes another years of bullying and doing bad things. yep i turned out as a person i hate right now. i was mean and cruel just like those people who bullied me. i thought doing that would make people finally realize that my position once was is not a good place to be. but i was wrong, bullying never been a good thing.

but it stops during my high school year, but just like i said, the society is a mean thing. it's not just about the bullying but also about rumor. bad ones, good ones. none of them were right, that's why i hate rumor. and dont believe in it unless i seen them by myself.

i didnt get bullied or bullying others yet, there's this guy i dated who's not really a person who'd filled with good things when you heard about him through other's mouth. i mean he's filled with bad rumor, not only about him but also girls that he dated, includes me. i got some bad rumor about me and him. it wasnt true, like why would people do that, that is just mean.

oh maybe some of you may think "ha! she made it up" nope this is my life that i wrote here.

and i thought i was the only one? nope my little brother, he got bullied. and he's the type of kid who would keep things to himself, which brings him to frustration. he'd puke every morning cause he's so nervous to go to school and got bullied, not just that he made up excuses to skip school yet refuses to go to doctor to check it up.

and also my boyfriend's little brother got the same thing, every time i met him at school he'd always be alone.

well people think we're weird, and dont fit in to you society, well you guys were wrong. we sometimes struggling with things that you may not know, or we're just trying to fit in yet you wont let us. you know society ruins people's thoughts and ways or seeing others. some ruins people's personality, some made the "anti-social" cause they prefer not to be mocked or to be laughed at.

when you think of "he/she is weird, what's wrong with them" they're not weird they're just dont know how to be what the society wants, you guys wanted too much from someone. the meaner they'd be the well known they'd be. right? you love those mean people and follow them and be a part of them. and mocked those 'weird' people :)

im not going to say "stop bullying" or anything, well if you're never been in that position well lucky you, you have a great life. all i wanna say is this is reality this is life, we cant just told people to stop all we could do is to cheer them i guess idk ha! im not good at giving advice or  anything

that's all i wanna say, i wrote this cause im sick of seeing people got bullied and such. and i wont let this happens to my friend, children in the future on even my grandchildren one day. cause i wont let them feel those bad times like how i did in life :)

14th Months at the 14th

Dear Rokhily Rulia Putra aka kaii or kaiichoo,

today we've finally reached our 14th months together!
it was an amazing year with you, we've been through ups and downs. even we broke up a few times, but you know we made it through all of our hard times :)
just like what you've said last night, we'll be fine as long as we're together :)

14 is my favorite number, and you're my favorite person in the whole universe :D
remember that time on our 1st month i gave you this cookie with 14 number on it?

yeah and also those silly dinner we did, and also those movies we watched together oh how about this thing you wrote for me

yeah i do remember everything you've said, those promises, your sweet words :D

and yeah last night conversation made me scared of losing you even more, and the movie you told me yeah i dont want to ended up like her :')

oh yeah remember our favorite so together? yeah every time i feel lonely and i miss you i listen to our songs, it makes me feel better yet it kills me sometimes knowing you're not there atm :")

but you know? we have skype, and every time spend our saturday together it made me feel a lot better. it somehow made me forget all of those arguments we made and also those problems at home, cause we sometimes did silly stuffs together and we're such a silly couple sometimes. and it made me love you even more.

oh remember that time when we skyped, and our videocall ended up with 13 hours long? we didnt expect that right? and how you took photos of me sleeping then i took yours :3 and we both posted to our instagrams :3 and path! hihi yeah i do remember that

and and and also that place we love to go for lunch at PIM, i mean it's either PastadeWaraku or Mr Curry :P

we never took a lot of photos together cause somehow i got shy doing it with you idk >.< it's hard sometimes. but it kills me inside why cant i do it! like.. why.. haha :)

ya know that night we i almost lost you, im scared to death cause somehow i didnt know what i suppose to do. i mean i know it was my fault and i never stop trying to get you back, and i did :)

oh yeah i wanna thank you everything that you've done, and everything that you gave to me, every moment we spend together, every tears, laugh, everything. i love you more than anything ki :) you're my everything and i just cant describe how lucky im to meet you at the first place, i know it was awkward right? just the two of us in the classroom and you're busy with your iPod and i got nothing to do, but you know what? im lucky i went to that school and meet you :')

you're my most favorite person in the whole universe ki, i love you more than anything in the world, more than everything :)

Happy Birthday My Dear Brother

last Saturday, 6th of April 2013. My family celebrate my little brother's birthday at JN Stud, Sentul Bogor. Well actually his real birthday was at the 2nd of April but then we got to celebrate it on the 6th. He got a new horse named Sule. It has this black and white stripes on his head. And also we said hi to all of our horses there :D

well my brother loves horses and such. Once he was crazy in love with lizard and he bought tons of lizards. Now horses got his heart. But he won couple of horse riding competition. He's really good for that young age. He's now studying in 5th grade, and yes he's now 11 years old. Oh boy he grew up so fast! and I love him so much :D oh well oh well :D

so here im going to share you couple of photos i took while companying my brother and his training stuff :D

ya know, i started this blog as a photo blog thingy. but then it turned out as a art blog haha how funny indeed. Well FYI I'll keep on posting photos, videos and drawings of mine tho :D
